Bass player leaves Temperd to pursue other projects - by N.L. Belardes

I hope Cesareo doesn't permanently leave Karmahitlist... Anyway,
this news is fresh in on the wire...

This is Scott (Goliath), the bass player from Temperd.
I am writing you all to tell you that I am officially
leaving the band. A long time ago, I said if I start
playing in another band, I would go all the way with
it. I feel that this band has gone as far as it can
go.

The saying goes, "A captain always goes down with the
ship". In this band, we were all captains, so I am taking
a life boat and rowing away. We as a group accomplished
many things and watched other bands break
up and change members, all the while we stayed the
same. I am not regretful in my decision. The only thing
that bothers me is I feel I have let the family and fans
down. For this I am sincerely sorry.

I want to personally thank Glenn, Jacque, and Laura for
busting their asses and having the same dream I had. I
also want to personally thank Angie, Michelle, Mandy,
Squib, Jeffe and evryone else who spent money they
didn't have to go out of town and support the band.

And I want to thank Kevin, Greg, and Nate for giving
me some of the best and funniest times of my life.
You are my brothers and we will still drink and cause
trouble together.

When I see anybody on the street, I will apologize
and thank each and everyone for believing in Temperd.
I wish the guys the best of luck in the future.
So with tears in my eyes and a heavy
hand, I am saying goodbye to the best band in
Bakersfield and everyone knows that.

PEACE!
