You know I hate medical emergencies and snobby nurses. You probably do too. 24 hours of that will put your head into a spin. The last day has been so crazy that my co-worker Erik is the one giving me the music news. I said, “Dude, I am not going to make Battle of the Bands tonight. I have a steel drum gig to attend.“ And then he told me what’s up, that there is no battle tonight, and that he better get a shout out for filling me in on the up and up. I checked JR’s site. He’s the guy who says what shows are playing and when…Why? Because he surfs all the MySpace accounts the music community has set up. That's some time and effort.
