OK, she didn't scream, but I feel dumb. A few tame words feels like a scream when you are caught being clueless. There is an all female Celtic band in town called Banshee in the Kitchen. Jill Egland is in that band. But did I point it out after seeing Egland and David Nigel Lloyd perform? No, I didn't even realize she was one of the Bakersfield Banshee Babes...

If you didn't know, Bakersfield is ripe with great Celtic and Celtic-influenced music. Whiskey Galore is performing later this month, and David Nigel Lloyd and Jill Egland performed recently at both Dagny's and Jags coffeehouses...

How cool would it be to see Irish boy Kenny Mount from the the Filthies, Lloyd, Banshees and Whiskey Galore all put on a show...

Am I just dreaming?

Maybe I'm just delirious from having the flu...
