Myspace band of the moment, Idle Revolution - By N.L. Belardes

There's a Bakersfield band by the name of Idle Revolution. Just who are these guys in a local rock/jam band? They take themselves seriously enough to make a myspace page, record tunes, and sent me a note to check them out. They've played the Boiler room and MWP... and they have a gig coming up in Fresno... buy a ticket, get a CD.

Let me just say that all Bakersfield bands should sell their CDs. Giving away CDs depreciates the entire local music scene. Make people think the music scene is worth something. Sell your music, don't give it away. Unless sending to promoters, reviewers, venues...
