Here's some letters from Heath Dobbler on Misbliss and The Lebecs after seeing the mystery archive:
I have not thought about Ruth and Miss Bliss in years...
I've known her since she was a little Miss Bliss... circa, she was compas with my sis in Kindergarten. I'm pretty good pals with her dad "Hub" as well.
Wow, them old memories.
We gigged with them (The Lebecs) a couple of times. They were talented musicians, and seemed friendly enough, but the word on us was, that we were assholes... so not too much talking took place. I did rap with their front man once and we shared our mutual appreciations of one another's groups... other than that, I don't know a whole lot. They did play alot of shows and were always reappearing in different bands, with their friends... so, hey, thats all I got.

Where did you get that picture of the beautiful Ruth Bowen? That had to be taken at Jerry's around 1998ish, and it brought back tons of memories. I still to this day have people stop me and ask if I was the drummer of Misbliss. That was a great time in the Bako music scene, every weekend you could hear awesome bands like Dim, Butterfly Stitches, and Misbliss... and all had FRONT WOMEN. Hell, Nate Burg even paid us each time we played. I usually ended up giving our money to the out of town bands, because he never made an attempt to pay them. Bliss broke up because stupid shit got the best of us, and Ruth did go off to college and is a counselor, Ryan Mullen(bass) owns his own business in San Diego, Ryan Vaughn (guitar) works for the sheriffs department, The Germ (keyboards) was in Three Chord Whore, and now is doing some crazy ass rap/goth project, and me..well you know where I am. Funny, after seeing Dim we were talking about a reunion show, who knows it might just happen.
