Matt Munoz and James Ratliff on the Lebecs and Jane Friday - By N.L. Belardes

I received a couple more emails about the Lebecs. I knew I recognized Dave! Here's what James Ratliff from Norfolk had to say. By the way, check out two really great new Norfolk songs on myspace.com/norfolk called "The Heist" and "Southern"...

Nick,
Dave from the Pangolese played drums in lebecs during their good years.
Talk to you later,
James

Don't leave out Matt Munoz who comments about the Lebecs and Jane Friday...

I let the Lebecs open for us at The Marketplace one
year. Those guys were cool. I used to wear their shirt
with the hearts all the time. I remember after the
Marketplace show, the lady who books the bands came up
and gave me shit about letting "that band,"
play....LoL!!! That was so punk...The last time I saw
a member of the Lebecs was at Borders. I think the
drummer, who eventually moved to keys or guitar,
worked there..

I have a Jane Friday CD which is really cool. They had
this one song that could've been a hit on college
radio. I think Caleb (Mento bass player,) gave their
bassist lessons. They were all cute. You should've
seen those horny, pimple faced boys crowd the stage
for them..

Memories.. ;)
