Meeting Jenny Angel at Azuls

Last Wednesday at Azuls I stopped in to meet some folks from the Dusk Devils. We did some brainstorming on a few ideas, had a few drinks. I introduced her to AJ of the Soulsteppers and they exchanges greetings.











I said hi to Luis and waved to his cousins who were pouring drinks behind the counter. I snapped a photo of the performing band and a few others. Jenny Angel was cool as can be. We talked it up about alt country, rockabilly, the Crystal Palace and Buck’s big crystal horse. It was a quick night out and I enjoyed the music. As I left I ran into Darcie Blake of Three Chord Whore who was on the phone with her mama…
