funny that the band that's constantly selling out the spotlight, and packing in gumbeaux's and fishlips on a solo bill aren't mentioned anywhere.
for what category? I left a lot of bands out. If you mean Soulajar, I think they are a good band with a CD soon to some out. They should be in the running in 2006! Go Soulajar! When I saw them at the Spotlight it wasn't sold out though. I didn't mention bands like Whiskey Galore either and they really pack them in too! Good luck in 2006~
I was at that gig. You took pictures for the first set, and bailed. Tons of more people came for the 2nd set. If you remember, there was a big festival over at Empty Space that day/evening. A bunch of those people came down for the 2nd set from that gig. It was a blast for sure. Both gigs rocked that day.
