Korn starts tour in hometown Bakersfield - By N.L. Belardes

Maybe Bakersfield Bob has been hanging out with Korn in the studio pimpin' her back-up vocals she's been using for the Soulsteppers. Could that be why she's been missing? I don't know but there's supposed to be a write-up in our local used-to-not-be-Korn-friendly paper. Either way, this just in from the The Bakersfield Californian:

Bakersfield band Korn announced last week that it will kick off its new 26-city tour back where it all began — in Bakersfield — on Feb. 24.


Tickets for the Bakersfield show go on sale to the general public on Saturday, but will be available to Korn BSC Online Fan Club members from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be presold on the internet at www.ticketmaster.com from 10 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday. Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, tickets to the Bakersfield show will also be available over the phone from Ticketmaster at 322-2525 and at the Rabobank Arena box office.
Fans will get a chance to see for the first time what life is like for Korn without lead guitarist Brian Welch at Rabobank Arena, the first stop on their tour. Tickets for the Feb. 24 7:30 p.m. Friday night Bakersfield show range from $25.50 to $35.50.
