Let's recap.
The Best of 2005 from nlbelardes.com
Best website: The Dalloways
Best N.L. Belardes photo: Throatshot at Studio 99
Best up-and-coming artist: Norfolk/James Ratliff
Song of the year: "Condorstown" by The Filthies
Best Performance: Midnight Panic's 'Family Show' at Studio 99
Best CD: Penalty Crusade by The Dalloways
Bakersfield band of the year: American Standard

Thank you Ms. Belton for all the help in attending shows and working with me to decide on who was best in 2005.
JR, thanks for getting back into the biznatch with a mini-review of your own. You're right, Gramercy Riff, Broken Record Gospel and many other local bands, oh yeah, I so dig old Liars and Thieves; they're all great bands...
Next year is a whole new challenge. I'm just happy to take a few moments to reflect on the past year. Thanks to blogger, we can look back at the past, smile, frown, laugh, and be glad we made it to another year.
By the way, I saw Bakersfield Bob at the movies today. That was kind of weird.
Once again. Happy New Year!!!

What, no theatre stuff :(
I guess we all know who would win that anyways ;)
The Hobbit got mentioned as one of the most memorable shows of the year. I didn't feel like I saw enough theatre to give awards. I am going to make an effort this year.
