unholy unlucky Friday the 13th with Lords tucked under one arm - By N.L. Belardes

There’s a fog delay for school children today here in Bakersfield, California. Is it really because of the fog or is it the evil spirit of Friday the 13th hovering over our creepy town? Oh sure, you say you’re not afraid of the fog. But then maybe you haven’t read Lords: Part One about those dastardly Lords of Bakersfield, ghosts and Native American spirits lurking in the shadows. You don't believe the effect of this book on the psyche? One of my readers recently wrote during a foggy morning that wasn't on an unlucky day,

I walked outside a moment ago and it's all foggy.... And I remembered your blog about the fog and how it is like the Lords fog. And I got freaked out and ran inside in fear that the Indian spirit was gonna jump out of nowhere. It was scary. Only a great book can scare me so much that I am in total fear of something that isn't there. - Stacie

Don't act so afraid. Have you picked up a copy at Russos, Borders or online at Amazon?

Enjoy your unlucky Friday the 13th. And don’t forget to stay out of the shadows. There’s still an evil presence in and around this unholy town
