No more shows at the MWP? - By N.L. Belardes

What's the deelio?

Too loud for the vendors?

Montgomery World Plaza is another statistic...

It's always been a concern. It is a bit close to residential areas. I remember one time Clay and I were standing outside a show to hand out flyers for an upcoming 3 Cent Nickle show, and a lady in her slippers came walking across the parking lot and told us that we needed to stop the show because it was too loud. We politely informed the lady that we had nothing to do with the show, of course.

I don't think it's so much the music that is pissing the neighbors off. I tend to think it has more to do with the crowd loitering around before during and after the shows. If it's anything like Jerry's, I'm sure there is a lot of property defacing going on during these events as well. Sucks, but what do you expect...

All in all, I agree with J.R. never cared much for it, however it did pull in some decent performers.

    Oh Well.
