In the spirit of nlbelardes.com, bakotopia, and all the swell bloggers out there in the arts scene comes a new website. TheatreAddict.com is the Bakersfield theatre community's answer to a growing need for increased promotion, accessibility, and cooperation among the theaters in reaching out to the masses. Includes an interactive events calendar, discussion board, and coming in April: non-stop updates with new articles, reviews, pictures, and backstage interviews with your favorite actors & directors. Now you can keep track of ALL Bakersfield theatre on one website.
Fellow theatre addicts, this is your website and I want you to help me make it the best. Starting in April I will be going to see shows and adding content, but I can't do everything so I'm counting on you to help fascilitate the growth of this movement in the theatre community. Send me your comments, thoughts, articles, pictures, anything and I will post them! We can't always count on the local media to represent local theatre so it's time we started doing so on our own. I want theatreaddict.com to be a tool we can all use to bring the theatre community together and show Bakesfield what amazing entertainment is being created on stages around town. Join me.
