I don't normally post emails I get regarding my book (Matildakay recently wrote my Lords of Bakersfield novel was a hot potato), but I think this letter from LA rocker Jessie Deluxe sums up what a lot of people have to say about Lords: Part One:

I FINISHED YOUR BOOK!!!!!!!! I READ IT IN 3 DAYS WHICH IS A HUGE DEAL FOR ME!!! I LOVED IT!!! And I really mean that! It was so exciting for me to jump into your dark world , Sweet Sweets is a little scared after I read it to him but it was good for him to hear about all those things. I explained that that is why he is an indoor kitty..cuz those lords would snatch him in a second if they saw his pretty little face hahahha. It was very inspiring..I could see the movie! You should have the film made!!!! I can't wait to read all your other books* Your words made everything very vivid in my head. So......Ill have to interview you next time...got some questions bout your background hahah. Be a great band name...Lords or The Lords..any hoot..its way too late and Im hit'n the hay.
