Smalltown Girls Episode 4: The Return of Johnny - By N.L. Belardes

You thought they were gone? The Smalltown Girls didn't leave because you wanted them to stay. And then N.L. got a little busy with protests and the death of Buck Owens. My apologies to all the fans of the Smalltown Girls who had to wait for me to edit another episode.

The latest podcast out of the Southern San Joaquin Valley is just for girls. Or is it? Lots of guys have been eavesdropping on just what these gals have to say.

Gossip to feed your mind...

Get the gossip from Bambie, chingpea, and Matildakay three SMALLTOWN GIRLS discussing everything you need to know about their celebrity obsessions. (Listen Now and Subscribe for your ipod or desktop receiver!)

Episode Four: The Return of Johnny

Listen in as the Smalltown Girls talk about their ideal man

Bambie is missing in action. Is it because she likes the smell of henna? (personal joke)

Find out if chingpea wants her ideal man to wear a dirty leather jacket and if Matildakay's dreamboat goes High Fidelity

Check out the Smalltown take on Libertine as they bare all for Johnny

Guest on the show is N.L. with a poor take on chick flicks

Hear N.L. stumble over his words about Queen Kong

Does N.L. win the Dorktown Special as they all play the "Or" game? Find out!

And much, much more...

Thank you! It's good to hear their voices again, even if Bambie was missing. I even liked the banter between NL and the girls. That "OR" game helps to get to know them better too. Word associations say a lot about people.

    Glad you're back.

Fun episode, though I missed the valley girl sounding Bambie. FYI, Great Expectations was done by Charles Dickens not Shakespeare.

You guys owe the Dorktown.net Podcast .05 now....yep a whole damn nickle - that "Or Game" is copywrited DAMMIT.

Just playin', that is very very cool you played the Or Game. Nice job ladies, and when I say ladies I include NL

I know. I listened to what I said. When I finally realized that it was Great Expectations I never clarified that I actually knew the author... heheha...

I can't believe they're really back! It's been so long! Really, I'm glad they're back and I hope you post episodes on a regular basis. Kinda sucks when you're outdated by the time you post. Still love you though.

Spankin has been a whole lot better since I have Matildakay's voice again.

    A fan

One of my girlfriend's friends told me to listen. Where's all the talk about AA men in Hollywood? Denzel and Jamie Foxx aren't the only AA men there.

MySpace is evil. Can't we just leave comments and suggestions here?

How do we land women like you?

Try the pirate costume. They like that one.

Here's something I want to hear (I'm sure other guys have the same questions):
Of the 3 ladies, which one is the "easiest" to approach? The hardest one to communicate with? The quickest to say "yes" to a date?

    Thanks.

  18. Blogger n.l. | 9:29 PM |

These are good comments. The girls will be addressing some of them on their next episode... to be recorded tomorrow night!

    Hi Ladies and N.L.

I enjoyed your show. Although, I missed Bambie's take on things. N.L. you surprised me with your take on chick flicks. It's nice to hear a guy actually say he enjoyed Sleepless in Seattle (one of my favorite movies) and girls I have to say, this time I was in agreement with N.L. on a lot of the things you discussed. Keep up the good work.
