I can't believe it! Another episode already - THANK YOU!!!! I love Ice Cube too, Bambie. Why does Chingpea give you sooo much attitude?

I read your myspace intro on how you came to be Smalltown Girls, pretty cool idea. Fun listening.

I want to know how you came up with all your "stage" names. Do they mean anything? Strange nicknames, I thought... except for Bambie, which is pretty common because of the cartoon.

Care to share? Did N.L. give you those names? Are they supposed to describe your personality or where you come from?

This episode was cool, but I enjoyed having a male point of view... bring N.L. back in front of the mic with you. Or bring in guest males once in awhile.

    Regards,
    Michael

Come on girls, I know you have more to offer than “Hollywood Gossip” I can get this at the local Grocery Store while I am waiting to check out. Let’s hear what you think about other things. How about it girl’s, are you up to the challenge?

    1. Do you really like it when that guy at the bar buys you a drink? How do you handle it or do you?
    2. What do you think about men and tattoos? Cool or not cool? Do you have one yourself? If so, where?
    3. What's your favorite hang out?
    4. Does size really matter? Have you ever measured?
    5. How many dates does it take until you let him get to the center of your tootsie roll pop?
    6. What’s the strangest place you ever did it?

Come on girls it’s time to get down and dirty. Chingpea, aren’t you the one that said you like it dirty, oh wait you said you like dirty guys or was that you like your guys dirty. Hmmm what does that really mean?

How come nobody ever asks me these kinds of questions?!?

I will say that Bambie does have a matching set of battleship tattoos on her...

  8. Blogger Matildakay | 12:00 PM |

I do love Hockey Canada Cusack guy... but Canada is soooo far away. :(

    Great questions so far!

    Keep the comments coming...

I went to high school with chingpea. She was known as the school "kissing bandit." Never really had a boyfriend, that one. Don't think she ever really wanted one. I haven't seen her since she graduated and went to college, but she still sounds the same. She's as genuine as they come. Basically, what you see is what you get. It's really funny. From the way she sounds on the show, doesn't sound like she's changed very much. I don't think she likes dirty guys. If I remember correctly, she likes guys that aren't afraid to get dirty - as in, sweat, grit and shit like that. She had a weakness for athletic types and extreme scholar types. If they were both, to her, it was a BONUS. Honestly, I think she just liked the challenge and competition of keeping their interest. She was such a tomboy and still a girl - you didn't know if you wanted to date her, or wrestle her. LOL. I wouldn't be surprised if she's still friends with most of the guys she heartbroke.

    chingpea,
You probably don't remember me - it's been so long. I kissed you once at the DHS quad, and you got my name wrong. As always, because you're so cute, you were forgiven. You're one who's hard to forget and hard to stay mad at. God bless you and glad to hear you're just the same and happy.

    Sincerely,
Class of 1991, now at Newport Beach

If chingpea and Matildakay have their own myspace outside of the Smalltown Girls, why doesn't Bambie? She has her own fans, too!

Yeah, I agree with rock star -

Where do you like to hang out? When?
Do you like your drinks bought?
    Does size really matter?
...And where is the strangest place you've ever done it?

We all want to know. I do love you ladies - I listen to each episode at least 2x. I've got to say, Episode 2 is still my favorite.

BTW, can I see Bambie's battleship tattoos?

Where's the next one? Will it be coming as fast as episode 5 did? Or will it take a month like episode 4 did?

  14. Blogger n.l. | 12:48 PM |

We're trying to get a couple of local DJs on the next show... maybe next week.

I've got a few comments that talk further about chingpea's past. I allowed one, but won't be allowing any further personal comments about any show member's pasts. This is a fun Hollywood entertainment gossip show. Thanks for all of you tuning in...

Sounds like Chingpea is the "outgoing" one of the group. LOL. All the girls sound pretty hot. Look forward to the next episode.

I apologize if my letter to chingpea caused a stir. I just wanted to have the closure. She's a great girl. Never meant it to be a "Let's bash chingpea's past fest."

I found out that she was a part of the show through an old acquaintance, listened to some of the shows, read some of the comments on the most current episode and thought I'd say something nice about her, while referring to the questions of Rock Star since s/he had a direct question to the Smalltown Girl I know and Delano grew up with.

I'll be listening in for the pure enjoyment of having 3 ladies talk a lot about whatever it is that makes them excited. From a smart guy's POV, it's education. Ha ha.

    Peace,

It's also important to understand that although the girls are the gossipers on the show, this is an nlbelardes.com show, with an nlbelardes.com vision of it. Within that vision is just straight up Hollywood gossip fun. This isn't meant to be a self-help show, or "here's how to win the perfect man" show. This is like peeking in on ladies anywhere talking Hollywood gossip and having some fun.

Also, I find it interesting (and fun) that people recommend what they want out of the show and even go so far as to criticize. No one is getting paid here. Podcasting is easy, takes time to do, but anyone can do it. It's free! I mean really, would you pay for this show? Likely not because you don't pay for radio (satellite being the exception). People who don't like the show can easily create their own on whatever subject they like. That's the beauty of it!
