Oh yes, I wrote to you recently how I worked with an internet porn star, and about the strange parallel between Berry and the young character in my novel, Lords: Part One, also about gay youth run rampant in a malicious adult world of power and corruption.

justin does play the victim very well. i knew him in the past when he worked at a company that hired him at the age of 16 because he was a "child genius." what were they thinking?! those who believe he should be excused from his actions are clearly not seeing him for who he genuinely is. he knows exactly what he's doing. i pray he gets what he deserves, but does that matter? he's already made a fortune... whether he goes to jail or not, he's already a millionaire. he'll either end up buying his way out or win by the way our prison "system" works...he'll be a "good boy" for the time he has and be let out on "good behavior." sucks. he truly is the next generation "lord." that lil' f***!

Justin Berry's life is interesting to say the least. When the NY Times article about him broke last year, I was saddened to see Bakersfield written about regarding child sexual abuse once again. But as I started seeing him on TV,playing the victim time and time again. I had to think..this kid is going for an academy award. Children these days are very worldly. They aren't innocent by any stretch of the imagination. I haven't checked out the links you have in this article and frankly, I don't think I need to. I think he is a kid that took advantage of the adults with sick desires that were willing to pay him to feed their needs. How else can you explain someone that is more than willing to relive the "horrors" he went through time and time again live and in living color on national TV? Plus the added fact that he became an active partner in the internet site that catered to the sick needs of the adults says volumes about him in my view. He was looking to make a buck then and he still is now. Publicity,whether negative or positive is good they say..as long as they spell your name right.
Do you people posting think you have a right to give your 2 cents about a kid you've analyzed by watching him on TV? I didn't realize that having a kid loosely associated to you by employment and watching clips of him on Court TV gave everyone certification to do psychoanalysis. Just remember to not call anyone a little F**K after you open your MFT practice; It would be bad for cliental. You people are tasteless and need to crtique your own lives first.
Justin Berry is not a little kid. And this isn't a little isolated incident but puts Bakersfield on the map. Opinions matter, good or bad in this case... There are pedophiles in the case, a troubled kid, and questions on either side... It's in the papers, so analyze it I say! Why not? If we don't, more kids could end up just like him. And who in God's name wants that? Analyze the case. Prevent more Justin Berrys.. I especially blame the parents in this case. The father seems pure evil (as do the rest of the pedophiles). But was/is Justin? He's over 18 and a popular culture figure. Folks have a right to talk all day about him. Justin is a genius prodigy kid who graduated early because of his high intelligence and may very well be playing the victim.
But that doesn't mean there weren't horrible nasty pedophiles even if he was playing the victim... throw them in prison... The Lords of Bakersfield may be walking free in Bakersfield right now. At least with the Berry case some pedophiles will hopefully be imprisoned.
Yeah I totally think he's playing the victim BIG TIME! He's a smart and witty teen who completely knew what HE was getting into. NO one put a gun to his head making him take off his shirt and make that first $50 bucks! He was a horny manipulative teen before all this happened and he will always play the poo ole victim. Near the end he got caught doing something that was considered illegal and he knew he was BUSTED! The only way out was to snitch on his customers and like-minded online buddies!
So you're suggesting he just walk away and allow the evil to fester?
I just think he's as bad as those he's turned in... Sometimes evil hides behind a supposed innocent veil of youth. Society loves to makes excuses for bad young people.
