Help find Mike Cornett's stolen white Civic EX - By N.L. Belardes
Help the man find his stolen ride...
****UPDATE: CAR FOUND IN KERN CITY...
Hey N.L.
Friday July 14th, I awoke @ 6AM to the news that my car was not in the driveway, the last place I left it locked and secure the previous night. Someone had stolen my white 1995 Honda Civic EX. The License plate # is 3LAJ828. Everything was stock...no tinted windows, stock rims, etc. There are no identifiable stickers or anything on the car. The rear bumper has slight paint/pressure cracks when viewed from nearby. Also, the steering wheel has adhesive residue over the center where velcro was once applied.
Any help would be much appreciated, and those with info can reach me at: 364-3569...serious calls only.

Looks like white car in image minus the spoiler
Plate: 3LAJ828
Thanks,
Mike Cornett

Thanks to Nick and the readers for helping me out...it's much appreciated
GREAT NEWS...An officer just called me and said he found a white civic under my name parked in Kern City. The stereo was jacked, and door panels were ripped out (I assume to jack the alarm). The ignition was screwed as well, so it'll take a few new parts, but other than that, everything is in tact...Luckily they didn't like my taste in music...only 1 cd was taken, which was in the player.
Thanks for the support!
Bakersfield's online community is supportive of each other... I would hope someone would do the same for me...
anyone...?

Mike I am soooooooooooo glad they found it so quickly. I had a car stolen years ago and they found it in Los Angeles. I had to find a ride there, pay the impound and storage fee....how unfair right? Luckily, I had no stereo to steal, or anything valuable, and he washed the car for me. I guess he didn't like my week old McDonald's bags stinking up his ride to LA. If he wanted a ride, he shoulda just asked. Asshole. (it was someone from my apartment complex)But if you're reading this jerkoff... thanks for leaving the roll of film in the glovebox.
Norma, you nut! you NUT!
Your story cracks me up because something similar to that happened to me!
It was my 1980 Datsun 210 piece-o-crap car but it was transportation! I had just gotten a new stereo but hadn't installed it yet, so it was in the box in the trunk. Anyway, car gets stolen. They find it 2 blocks from the MX border. I drive down, pay impound fees and get my car. Not only did the thief install my stereo, but he also gave me new rims and sheep skin seat covers! I swear the car looked like a totally different car!
vrooom!
