Halloween month is kicking off tonight on Paperback Writer. Oh yes, tonight is a big night in the CREEP category! If you're home, then God be with you, because I promise to freak you out with blogs galore before the midnight hour.
You better not be by yourself.
I hope the lights don't flicker and go out. Are there faces in the windows? Well close those curtains!
Here's a rundown of tonights festivities online and out and about:
1. 3:30PM Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning - Show up at Pacific Theatres if you dare
2. 6:00PM Chamber of Chills @ Montgomery World Plaza - This scary fright fest has won awards and just opened last night with the Discovery Channel/Travel Channel in the house putting helmet cams on kids. Pray they made it out alive...
3. 8:00PM Lostocean @ The Gate (22nd and O) - I have to take a happy breather from the fright. This is a signed band from Bakersfield with EMI. Their music is sold on iTunes. Support!
4. 9:30PM Chasing the Moon - This ghost hunt is taking place at a local cemetary just a few miles from Bakersfield. JR of Illpressed is heading up this terrifying ghostly tour.
5. 11:30PM Ghosts in the mortuary? - There might be. We're stopping in to Mission Family Mortuary to see spirits walk the embalming floor.
6. 12:15AM Paperback Writer ghost blogs - I'll be putting creep info online. Be prepared to crap your pants.
7. 1:00AM N.L., Arthur Chilling, and Kenny Mount on the Red Eye Radio 1230 AM Hot Talk - Oh yes, the radio show starts at 11PM. But we're on from 1AM - 3AM. We'll be recapping some ghost haunting, movies, ghostkids.com, Cinema of the Lords, orbs at the mortuary, and more...
