Freaky Bakersfield exorcism video - By N.L. Belardes
This is by far the weirdest video I've ever watched on Bakersfield.com. Yes, you too can learn to cough out spirits. Beware of barfing them up though. Could be messy.

Bless yourselves, heathens!
The girl creeps me out. Reminds me of people who I have met who say they put curses on others. Maybe that's why I'm not tall.
Matt used to date a witch didn't you, Matt?
my favorite are those "Hollywood spirits"
.....wow.
Matt Munoz definitely has a Ricky Ricardo spirit.
YOU TUBE NEEDS TO CAPTION,,I SWEAR! I think I am going to start a protest!!!!! Crazy video though,,
not so much freaky as it is just strange and stereotypical of the craziness in this area...
Cool. One of the exorcists is my next door neighbor from my "08" days. He's a versatile guy -- he also trims my trees but as far as I know he doesn't cast out demon spirits from rotten overgrown chinaberries.
There you have it. Real people with real jobs sometimes have the most interesting spiritual backgrounds.
What I don't get about the video is the disjointed look into Bakersfield religious sub-culture. There's no real explanation. For outsiders, Bakersfield suddenly looks like some kind of Faulkner-esque Southern spiritual retreat.
Get yer guns.
I heard of some musicians that conjured up demons while playing, then barfed all over themselves...YUCKEY!
Thanks for posting the video I wouldn't have been aware of it otherwise.
This is now a cottage industry exploiting weak damaged impressionable people that ends with the exorcised giving a hearty chunk of change and time being indoctrinated by the hucksters each month. Before too long they see Satans hand in everything even in these very words muhahaha. These activities do not line up with what christianity is about, not that I am the best qualified spokesman for christianity but you would think that if a person is possessed by a supernatural spirit they would be capable of performing supernatural acts, where is the testimony regarding this? It doesnt exist because its all in their minds. The new testament in the bible has one story that comes to mind where a man was possessed by demons and the people of his home town took to chaining this guy up at night out in the local graveyard. This demoniac was capable of breaking the chains with superhuman strength, then Jesus came along and took care of business and the man was restored to his former self. Instead of blaming the sinful nature of man who is weak in the face of temptation these folks want to believe the devil is responsible for their actions thus the saying the devil made me do it which removes all personal responsibility.
The Bottom line is the media always seeks to expose the most radical fringe elements of Christianity in order to discredit the whole lot.
Sorry for being so long winded I know this just meant to be a source of folly but the theme of demonic possession is present in just about every religion and they only gave one side of the story.
Along Came Jones: You nailed it. That is exactly why I posted the video. Not just because it's weird and there's some hilarity to it, but because this video makes Bakersfield and Christianity look like a freak show in the Old South.
