N.L. Belardes interviewed by the Wall Street Journal on corporate blogging - By N.L. Belardes

Here's a post from a corporate blog entry I wrote about a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. The article is titled, "Industrial automation blogging gains credibility in media sector":

I was interviewed a few weeks ago by Sarah E. Needleman of the Wall Street Journal about corporate blogging. Corporate blogging is a hot topic that the Wall Street Journal must believe will resonate with its readers. Although her article, “Paygrade: Blogging for Websites” in today’s edition of the Wall Street Journal didn’t mention me by name, I can see where our interview reinforced her belief that “some bloggers are employed by companies, but they are often part of the marketing department, and blogging is usually only a small part of their duties.”

She did mention Jim Cahill of the Emerson Process Experts blog who cites “positive feedback from readers and being quoted in the business press.” Mentioning Cahill and interviewing me lends great credibility not just to business blogging, but to blogging within the industrial automation industry.
