Hey, that Trash zine looks cool!
I brought my Noveltown Magazine to work so my co-workers can check it out.
Hey, do you think I look fat in my bakotopia.com magazine debut picture? I always worry that I look fat in yellow! :)
I dunno, but you look like one of those white-on-the-inside chicks.
Just kiddin' ya twinkie head!
haha.... I'm filled with goodness.
Thanks chief! URB magazine started out on recycled paper, now they're all gloss...Hmmm....hopefully we'll do the same. Cheers to all three publishers! Huzzzah!
Hey, where's our Belardic congratulatory mention?
I presented a Belardic video. heh.
I'm hoping the Bakotopia magazine will grow into its shoes... I can tell a lot of work went into the magazine. I dig the rock and rollness, though the cover needs to be nicer to really make those quality cover designs shine...
I would fight for that from your bosses, Matt. Get that schtuff glossified! It will really up the WOWSER! factor.
And needs a literary category for all the little writerlings in Bakersfield. Get it literaryfied! And I don't just mean about Noveltown. I mean there is a literary scene that encompasses a lot I don't write about. I could, or someone could, for your magazine. Have someone write in each issue about literary happenings. Remember, there's Russo's, Borders, B & N, clubs and classes....
OK, well don't if you don't wanna. But that's what I'd like to see in some newspaper in town. I mean, shit, I fought with the Californian over poor entertainment reporting. You have that covered now. But now Noveltown needs to yell for literary representation in the Southern Central Valley! Viva! :)
Otherwise, congratulations on a first issue. It's just the beginning of a great community service.
Donde Noveltown in Fresno?
Let's go over this again, for old times sake.
Q: How do I get in Bakotopia Magazine?
A: Write something.
I mean that "literarilly." Hey, I made a funny!
Thanks for hangin out at Cinco last night.
Paz,
Matt
