Meet ABC23 tonight at Studio 99 and talk BLOGS - N.L. Belardes
I'm starting up some new blogs on ABC23, one of which will be called "Buzz Bands."
If you want me to talk about your band, or if you're just interested in all the blogging we're going to do at ABC23, I will be at my kids' Dirty Spanglish gig tonight at Studio 99 @ 7:30 PM.
This is a good time to meet me, rather than just using myspace to connect. I plan on promoting Bakersfield bands who don't just contact using a computer...
This is just a good time to meet since I always attend my kids' gigs (I'm their transportation services).
My kids' band will be performing their new song "Hots for Hermione."
There will be a few bands, Aural Attack, Dirty Spanglish, the Dirty Pillows and more.

I'm still looking for a good way to see what is going on in town, entertainment-wise without having to try and look every local bands' myspace pages. Can You reccommend any sites?
There is no site that captures all local band events. Bakotopia.com comes the closest because it includes a lot of Studio 99, Jerry's Pizza and Backstage Events.
A lot of bands don't use calendars and only promote their shows/fliers on myspace.
