I won't let my Captain America article die on the entertainment pages of CNN!

So here is my plug and plead to Bakersfield viewers to come and check out a hero. Besides, as I said, we all need heroes on days like today, whether fictitious or otherwise.

By the way, I hear there is a grisly Rambo trailer online...

Persistence. I wrote the Captain America article last week, but CNN hadn't picked it up. So I prodded them.

Persistence.

Eventually they gave in and "Rambo Creator Reinvents Captain America" made the CNN.com homepage.

What's cool about that is the article links up to all the fine folks at the Yosemite Writers Conference. I built a huge sidebar with links, videos, and even the article in the Sierra Star that talks about the blogging panel I was on there.

There's also a link to the article I wrote about the Yosemite Writers Conference titled, "Is Book Publishing Dead? Yosemite Writers Conference Provides Food For Hungry Writers." That's really an article about new strategies on how to be a successful writer do change the way authors get published and promote their work.

The link is gone now, but I was happy it made it there for part of the day.
